Charles Lee Hansen, 80, of El Paso, Texas passed away peacefully and with loved ones on Nov 27, 2022. Charlie, born in 1942, and raised in Kansas would later go to college in Goodwill Oklahoma before joining the military. Charles served our country with two tours in Vietnam 69- ‘70, ‘71-‘72 and earned a Bronze Star for Heroism Under Fire, he was stationed as a Captain in El Paso until he was honorably discharged and began working at Wimsatt hardware for many years. He then went on to enjoy his hobbies with The Six Guns and Shady Ladies and the Cowboy Action at the Rod and Gun Club. He was an expert shot and a master craftsman; when he wasn’t out shooting targets with precision he was tinkering in his shop and creating whatever pleased him. Charles Lee Hansen was loved by many. He charmed everyone he met with his warm laugh and soft blue eyes. He had incredible intellect and could build just about anything he put his mind to.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family: his two Sons, Rusty and Scott and his wife Juanita, their two daughters and their families, Danielle and her spouse Chris and Kristen and her husband Carlos as well as the many friends Charlie has made throughout his full life.
He is deeply loved and will be missed.
