Charles S. Butler

Charles S. Butler, age 72, a resident of El Paso TX, passed away June 13, 2024 after a long battle with a horrible neurological disease called PSP. Charles is survived by his wife Peggy (of 50 years) and a son, Justin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Mike and sister Desiree. He was born and raised in upstate NY. He enlisted in the Army in 1970 and served for 3 years. He later attended and graduated from UTEP. Then he was commissioned in the Navy and served 4 years. After the Navy he went to Law School and became a Trial Lawyer. He retired in 2006. He enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with his family.I would like to give a special thank you to his caregiver for his last 3 years. Thank you Maria, you are a very special person.  A Committal Service will be from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
