Celia Munoz, March 1st 2022, 92 years old. El Paso TX. Daughter to Louie and Josefina Munoz. Mom started working in factories then as an accountant. She was a very independent and charismatic woman. She loved to drive, sew, knit, cook and enjoy spending time with her loved ones. She was a social butterfly and her saying was "Im free as a bird and I do as I please". Preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Josefina Munoz, sisters, Maria Luisa Castro and Maria Stewart. Survived by her sister Esperanza Lazarin, her daughter Josie Trillo. She had 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at St's Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 673 Old Hueco Tanks Rd, El Paso, Texas 79927. A graveside will follow at 10:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
