Cecilia Zapata

Cecilia Zapata, 82, entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2025 in El Paso, TX. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and granddmother. Cecilia is preceded in death by her parents, Florencio Lara Rivas and Maria Del Socorro Rodriguez Vera. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bernadino Zapata. Sons, Agustin Zapata and Juan Zapata. Daughters, Maria Teresa Gonzalez, Maria Bertha Rodriguez and Maria Zapata. Brother, Agustin Lara and sister, Maria Del Carmen Lara. Also leaving behind 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren to honor and cherish her memory. Cecilia was very loved and will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 North Loop Dr., El Paso, TX 79907.
