Cecilia Molina Martinez

Cecilia Martinez Molina Oliva, 76, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Cecilia was born May 30, 1935 in Roswell, NM to Daniel and Bonificia Molina Martinez. Both parents preceded Cecilia in death. She is also preceded by her brother, Jerry Martinez; sister-in-law, Mary Martinez; brother, Pete Martinez; and Gilberto Martinez. Cecilia is survived by her husband, Leon Oliva of El Paso, TX; brothers: Frank Martinez and his wife, Emilia of Roswell; Lloyd Martinez of Alamogordo, NM; Pablo Martinez and his wife, Dora of Dexter; Robert Martinez of Roswell, NM; and Ernesto Martinez and his wife, Carolyn of Roswell, NM; sisters: Evelyn Sanchez and her husband, Jose of Roswell, NM; Margaret Acevedo of Roswell, NM; Mary Borovina and her husband, Tam of Roswell, NM; and Amanda Martinez of Roswell; sister-in-law, Shirley Kolo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cecilia spent the past 44 years in El Paso, Texas, where she was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She worked as a Presser for the Civil Service. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Monday, August 22, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Vigil/Rosary will be held at 10:30am with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:45am Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that masses be requested for Cecilia.
