Cecil Virginia Boyd

Cecil Virginia Boyd, 74, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. Cecil was born on January 20, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Ruby and Cecil Young. After graduating from high school in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she married Robert Dale Garrett who passed away in 2002. Cecil worked as a book keeper for several years and enjoyed stamp collecting, genealogy, travel, and spending time surrounded by the love of her family. She is preceded in death by her second husband James E. Boyd, her father Cecil Young, her beloved step-father Bill Montgomery, and her great grand-daughter Chasity. She leaves behind her mother Ruby Montgomery of Muskogee, Oklahoma, her daughter Gaye Lynn Dampf and husband Belden of Amarillo, Texas, and her daughter Kimberley Dian Dean of El Paso, Texas. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; April Retzloff and husband Rylan, Meggan Livesay, Steven Livesay and wife Sharon, Krystle Farley and husband Zach, Brittney Dean, and Paige McQuillen, and eight great-grandchildren: Megan, Trevor, Dylan, Cole, Will, Thomas, Zayden and Luke. Gathering of Remembrance will begin at 11:00 AM with a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass.
