Carolina Alcocer, 81,passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones and went to be with our heavenly Father on September 25, 2016. She was born on November 4, 1934 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. She worked and lived most of her life in El Paso, Texas and gained U.S. citizenship. She was a devoted wife to Guillermo Alcocer II for 56 years until he preceded her in death in 2010. She was a supportive mother to four children she is survived by: Guillermo Alcocer III, Mirna Gibson, Martha Ortiz and Carolyn Lira. She was also a loving grandmother to six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. We will best remember Carolina for her profound faith in God, dedication to the parish of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and for being a kind, caring woman whose strength, generosity, and legacy will continue to live on in our hearts and memories always. We will miss her dearly, but are comforted knowing she will rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 7 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be said at 10 AM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
