Carol Gutierrez Heide

Carol Gutierrez Heide 63, of El Paso, Texas was called home peacefully on October 30th, 2021. Born on July 7th, 1958 to Victor Gutierrez and Edelgard Gutierrez. Carol was surrounded by her two daughters and loved ones. She was a wonderful caring loving devoted wife who fulfilled 21 wonderful years of marriage to her husband John Heide. Our mother, Carol, was one of the strongest, most dedicated, vivacious, and caring women we have ever known. Her inspiration and encouragement will continue to inspire us. We will forever be grateful for a lifetime worth of sacrifices. Carol was a member of the McCombs Baptist Church. Where she was singing in the choir and participated in various activities. As a grandmother, Carol devoted any spare moment she had to her five grandchildren. From attending cheerleading events to holiday lunches, grandparent days, and science fairs. She made it a point to show her grandchildren that she lived every moment for them. Being a grandmother was her greatest achievement. She ensured that each grandchild knew how much they meant to her. To mom from your daughters: We will forever miss you. We will forever carry you in our hearts. We will continue on building our families with the same love, devotion, and inspiration that you showed us. Fly high with the butterfly’s mommy. For when we’re feeling down, lost or when we need you near, we will know you’re there when we see a butterfly nearby. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, John Heide; Mother Edelgard Gutierrez; Sisters Maryann Yarnell, Linda Everett, and Karen Clader. Daughters Adela Gutierrez and Monica Cruz; Son-in Laws Juan Gutierrez and Jose Cruz; Grandchildren Isabel, Jayleen, Aubrey, Tito, and Angel.
