Carmen H. Lopez Carmen H. Lopez passed away on January 6, 2016, she is preceded in death by her parents Carlos Sr and Beatriz Heredia, her husband Jesus Lopez †, brothers Carlos Jr. † (Flora†) and Ernesto†. She is survived by her son Al Lopez and granddaughter Anna V. Lopez, her brother Armando (Martha) Heredia and sisters Alicia (Ignacio) Pedroza and Isela (Rudolfo†) Garcia and sister-in-law Josephina Heredia. Carmen was employed by the EPISD for over 40 years as a Truant Officer/Campus Patrol. Carmen was a devout Catholic helping various Catholic organizations throughout her life. Pallbearers are Jesse Lopez, Rudy Garcia, Victor Garcia, Robert Pedroza, Ernest Heredia and Jimmy Heredia. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama St. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
