Carmen Saucedo Job
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Carmen Saucedo Job, 89, was called to God’s presence and His loving embrace on October 8, 2016.
Preceded in death by parents Angelo and Belem Saucedo, sisters Evangeline Luceri, Herminia Lizarraga, and Estela Gonzalez, Carmen is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Juan Job; her children Theresa Job Morales, Juan Roberto Job (Marielena), Rita Job Schaeffer (Ruben), and René Job; grandchildren Monica, Anita, Edward (Vanessa), Dominica, Adrian, Maritza, Elina, Jabbo, Sarah (Jackie), Rachel (Andy), Brandon, Eduardo; great grandchildren Isabelle, Giovanna, Hope, Mia. Her brothers Albert Saucedo and Hector Saucedo and sisters Loretta Knight and Rebecca Sanchez also survive her.
For 50 years she worked as bookkeeper in the family business, Coney Island Restaurant, which operated in El Paso from 1920-1999. She was active in the Lion’s Club and Toastmasters International in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Juan and Carmen Job Scholarship Fund - University of Texas at El Paso; St. Partrick’s Cathedral; or Holy Family Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12th at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 North Resler. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 2:00 pm at St Patrick’s Cathedral. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
