Carmen V. Carrillo went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2016, at the age of 70. Carmen was born in Marfa, TX, on August 3, 1946. She had a long, successful career with Southwestern Bell/AT&T.
Carmen served the Lord faithfully for over 40 years. She passionately loved people and wanted everyone to know Jesus. Preceded in death by her parents, Atanacio and Leonor Valenzuela; her brothers Benito, Manuel, and Enrique Valenzuela; and her sister Emma Campos, Carmen is survived by her four children: Brenda (John) Moore, Diana (Mel) Harris, Deborah (Jerry) Flores, and Suzano (Jennifer) Carrillo, Jr.; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Greg) Pugh, John W. Moore, McKenna Harris, and Monique, Autumn, Isaiah, and Israel Carrillo; a great grandson, David Pugh; a brother, Atanasio (Josie) Valenzuela; a sister, Lupe (Jerome) Wilson, all from El Paso; another sister, Yolanda Ramirez, from Alpine, TX; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
