Carlota Aguilar

Carlota Aguilar passed away on March 5, 2009. She was born June 12th, 1918 in Albuquerque, NM. Carlota entered heaven to join her husband of 44 years, Ernesto Aguilar, and her 8 siblings. Ernesto and Carlota have 4 surviving sons: Neto (Martha), Manny (Melanie), Sal and Mando, and 3 grandchildren; Laura, Nicole, and Anthony. Carlota’s passing is mourned by many close family, friends and other relatives. During their courtship and marriage, Carlota and Ernesto enjoyed going to Big-Band dances. Carlota often enjoyed frequenting the unique, close-knit shopping districts of downtown El Paso and Juarez, especially when accompanied by her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm Monday, March 9th at Sunset Funeral Home on Carolina. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 10th at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church followed by graveside services at Evergreen Cemetery East. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
