Carlos Erasmo Rojo, 80, passed away July 28, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in El Paso, TX on November 25, 1930. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A friend to all he met, he was well loved by many, especially those who worked with him at Region 19 Educational Center (retired), and at Coronado High School where he was known as “Mr. Red” by his coworkers. He was preceded in death by wife, Elena Rojo, and son, Raymundo Rojo. He is survived by sister, Estella Sanchez, daughter, Irma Caro (Ruben), and son, Carlos O. Rojo, grandchildren, Ruben (Lucy), Michael (Emily), Daniel (Priscilla), and Marcos Caro (Jennifer), Michelle and Christopher Rojo, Cassandra Magnusen, great grandchildren Christopher, Carly, Cameron, Faith, Mikey, Kaleb, Sophia Caro, and London Juarez. His daughter would like to extend her deepest appreciation to her father’s guardian angels on earth, Dr. Teresa Reed, Inez, Gloria, and staff (Cancer Treatment Institute) for all the wonderful care and support that he received. He will be deeply missed by his family as well as all who knew him. Pallbearers: Carlos O.
