Carlos Oscar Rojo

Carlos Oscar Rojo, 56, passed away on December 4, 2011 after a brief illness. He was born in El Paso, TX on March 9, 1955. He was a loving father and grandfather. As a graduate from Coronado High School, he was a friend to all he met, he was well loved by many. He operated his own business, National Exhaust Services, from 1985 to 2011. An avid musician, he played locally for many years. First with the group ICU, and later with the group Soul Survivor. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elena Rojo, his father, Carlos E. Rojo, and his brother, Raymundo Rojo. He is survived by his long time companion, Terry Gesell, sister, Irma Caro (Ruben), and children, Michelle and Christopher Rojo, Cassandra Magnusen, and his grandchild, London Juarez. He will be deeply missed by his family as well as all who knew him. Pallbearers are Michael and Daniel Caro, Christopher Rojo, Alfredo and Ricky Miranda, Danny Duran, Hector Vargas, and Tony Canales. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
