Carlos Ortiz

Carlos Ortiz, 75, entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to parents; Isaias Ortiz and Juana Lopez. Carlos joined the Army and was a military mechanic for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents; Isaias Ortiz and Juana Lopez. Carlos is survived by his beloved wife; Esperanza Alvarado de Ortiz, daughter; Hilda Ivette Hernandez, sons; Carlos Ortiz, Frank Ortiz, Adan Garza, Abram Ortiz and Daniel Ortiz, brothers; German Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, sisters; Arcadia Ortiz and Santa Ortiz. Also leaving behind seven grandchildren to cherish his memory. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a sermon starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A graveside will follow at 2:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
