Our beacon of light has gone dark with much pain and anguish we inform you that out beloved Carlos Galvan passed away. He was a quiet and reserved man but once you had the opportunity to cross his path you would have liked and respected him as those who knew him did. Devoted to his sons and grandchildren but would always help those in need. Although he is gone from our lives, we will always think of him and love him. Survivors: wife, Berta. Sons; Christopher Anthony, Matthew Dominic (Veronica), 8 grandchildren; Jasmine, Natalia, Andrew, Isabella, Claire, Elias and Lucas. Siblings; Pablo, Margarita and Maria Elena. Preceded in death by sons; Carlos Roberto and Andrew. Pallbearers: sons; Christopher and Matthew, grandchildren; Natalia, Andrew, John, nephew Salvador Avelar. Honorary Pallbearers: Jose Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez Jr. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:00pm on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home – Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 128 Main St., Fabens TX. Committal Service to follow at 11:30am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, 700 Cypress St. Fabens TX.
