Carlos Carrillo

Carlos Carrillo, son of Andres Carrillo Sr. and Librada Martinez-Carrillo, born May 5th, 1959, and passed peacefully at home in the early morning of July 7, 2021, El Paso, Texas, accompanied by friend and roommate Sylvia Najera. Carlos, a lifelong resident of El Paso, beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, preceded in death by parents Andres, Sr. and Librada, and ex-wife Graciela Castro-Carrillo, is survived by his daughter Danielle Carrillo, grandson Ray Carlos Aragon, great grandson Noah Joseph Hernandez, brother Andres Carrillo Jr. (Lucy), Sisters, Lucy Winchester, Nena Barnts (Joe), Margie Burcombe (Doug), Sylvia Contreras (Robert), Lupe Chavez (Jesus) and many nieces and nephews. Carlos was a construction foreman for Diversified Industries for over 30 years, and helped build El Paso’s hospitals, schools, hotels, and many other buildings in and out of the surrounding areas. He was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys, UTEP Miners, and of every sport. He will be missed by family, many lifelong friends, and coworkers. Visitation will be held at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at St. Raphael Parish, 2301 Zanzibar.
