Carlo A. Wiesenthal, was a person with principles, honesty, a trusting nature-sharing his love and humor with everyone he met. He is best known for his jokes and wearing his poker glasses. He proudly served his country in the 82nd Airborne with secret clearance in teletype repair. After retirement twenty years later he served as a training officer for the visiting Japanese Air Defense units. In 2006 he retired a second time and enjoyed an antique buying and selling business. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and bowler. Carlos met his wife Judith in Kansas farm country and married in 1961. Carlo is survived by his wife Judith, 4 sons; Rex, Carl, Mark, and Roy Lee(deceased); 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Serina; brother, David Quass (who he just met 8 years ago); and sister, Louise Heindl. Graveside Services are scheduled for Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:30 am. At Fort Bliss National Cemetery with full military honors. Donations can be made to PKD Foundation (www.pkdcure.org).
