Carl Lee Robinson was born to Ruthie Mae (Robinson) Stanton, November 16, 1947 in Benoit, MS.
Carl made his home in Cleveland, OH. He joined the Army in Oct 1965, served two tours in Vietnam, other locations overseas and stateside, received the Bronze Star, Vietnam Armor Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and retired after 25 years of service. He was elected twice to El Paso City Council as Northeast Representative from 2009 to 2017 and once to El Paso County Commissioner from 2019 to 2022. He participated in many local organizations, served holiday meals, and assisted in many other ways to those in need until he was called home. His message was “Making the community a better place to live.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert, Jerome, Ralph, Michael, sisters Ollie Jean, and Tessie Marie. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Bertha Archer of MS, son Anthony of
El Paso, daughter Wannapha (Manny) Marmolejo of Arizona, nieces Crystal Coleman, Solanya Scott, Evelyn Archer, Sheila Goodman, Tami Douglas, nephew Charles Archer, and a host of family and friends.
