Caridad M. Gutierrez

Caridad M. Gutierrez, 100, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. Mrs. Gutierrez will be remembered as a people person who was always active. She volunterered in the girl scouts for many years. After the children were grown Caridad continued her education at UTEP receiving her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She taught for EPISD until her retirement. Mrs. Gutierrez was preceded in death by her husband Rosendo; son Armando; two grandchildren Robert and Vincent; and her great grandson Jason. She is survived by her sons Rosendo and Victor; daughter Lobelia; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thank you to Candy Haren for her loving and dedicated care of Caridad. The family would also like to thank Cima and Global Hospice. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 23, 2012 at 3 pm at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunsert Funeral Home-West. Thanks Mom, may you rest in peace, until we meet again.
