It is with deepest sadness that the family of Buford Berry, 89, announces his passing on May 05, 2022 at University Medical Center in El Paso, Texas with his wife Roswitha (Rose) by his side. He was a proud US Army Veteran who served 30 years in the Military. During his Military career he received several awards and commendation including the Purple Heart during his 2 tours in Vietnam. In 1980 he honorably retired from the military as E-6 CSGM. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, his son Jason and his 3 stepchildren; Juanita Graffi, (Martin), Michael Washington, (Maria), and Franklin Washington (Jeannett), of California, and 10 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Drive. Funeral Service will begin at 11:30am on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Committal Service to follow at 1:00pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
