Stanley Buraczyk

January 13, 1932 — December 27, 2023

El Paso

In loving memory of Stanley Buraczyk, born on January 13, 1932, and peacefully passed away on December 27, 2023. Stanley was a remarkable man who exemplified unwavering dedication to his family, particularly his cherished grandchildren. Born in Poland, and witnessing the impact of World War 2 and the Soviet’s occupation on his home country, he embarked on a journey at the age of 17 with little more than a shirt on his back.  He made his way through Czechoslovakia to Germany where, through the Lodge Act, he enlisted in the US army and also where he met his beloved wife, Brigitte.

A true patriot, Stanley served his adopted country with distinction, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant during his 23-year military career. His duty took him across the globe, with tours in Panama, South Korea, and Vietnam, reflecting his commitment to preserving freedom.  After his army career he continued to work long and irregular hours for the US government doing weapons testing.  Stanley's resilience and tireless work ethic were the cornerstones of his ability to provide for his family, a testament to his enduring love.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Wincenty and Rozalia, and four siblings. He leaves behind a legacy of 64 years of devoted marriage to his wife, Brigitte, and the indelible mark of his influence on his three sons, John, David (Shauna), and Steven (Michelle). His nine grandchildren, Jacob (Devereaux), Elise, Rachel (Connor), Anna, Cynthia (Kevin), Leslie, Michael, Jordyn, and Joshua, as well as his great-granddaughters June and Makenna, will forever cherish his memory.

Stanley Buraczyk will be remembered for his selflessness, dedication, and the enduring love he showered upon his family. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt, but his legacy of love and commitment will continue to inspire and resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be missed dearly.

In lieu of flowers give thanks to our Veterans.
