Brian Kelly Phillips

Brian Kelly Phillips left us on December 27, 2009 after a brief illness. He was born on August 23, 1974 in El Paso, Texas, the son of the late William Phillips, and Mary Phillips Swendiman. Brian married the love of his life and soul mate Jessica in October, 1996. Brian cherished Jessica and his two daughters with all his heart. He also counted family time as a gift with happy memories of a recent Alaskan cruise. He was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church. Some of his happiest days were spent riding motorcycles with his father and friends. He graduated from Andress High School. He later achieved a journeyman's certification and was currently employed at Leviton Manufacturing. Brian is survived by his beloved wife Jessica, his daughters Alexis Caitlin and Megan Helen; his mother Mary and Mark Swendiman; his in-laws Sylvia and Larry Kimmich and grandmother in-law Leandra Gomez all of El Paso and his brother-in-law Larry Kimmich of San Antonio, Texas. Additional survivors include Michael McAdams of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunt Kathryn and uncle Dr. Somkind Sridaromont of Lubbock, Texas; cousins Melissa Lee Sridaromont of Dallas, Texas; Tanya and David Wells and daughter Marin of London, UK; uncle Kelly Phillips and The Jernigan Family of Tallahassee, Florida. Even though Brian was an only child, he left behind two brothers in spirit Brian Brewer and Glenn Wickline. Services will include a celebration of the life of Brian Kelly Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Services will be led by Pastor Jeff St. Clair at New Hope Lutheran, 4801 Sun Valley Dr. Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
