Billy Gene Anderson

Our beloved Billy was born on June 19, 1934, to Henry and Elda Anderson. He was called to serve in Heaven on July 9, 2021. Billy left his Tulsa, Oklahoma home in 1956 to proudly serve our country until 1996. He was an M-16 Rifle Expert, M-14 Rifle Expert, earned a National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon "2", NCO Professional Development Ribbon "3", and Meritorious Service Medal. His love of roller skating led to finding the love of his life, Patsy Lavern Ross and together they formed a family with the birth of their daughter Terri Lyn Anderson. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his buddies at Underwood Golf Course. Having begun and ending his military career at Fort Bliss, Billy always said that although he was drafted, the US Army was one of the best things that ever happened to him. He is preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Terri and his loving wife Patsy Anderson. Many thanks to Kindred Hospice and Oasis Foster Home for care during his time on earth.
