Beverly Mae Sandy

Beverly Mae Sandy, 82, has gone to be with our Lord and Savior. She was born January 29, 1927 in College Park, Ga. She passed away February 11, 2009. In 1939, she moved to El Paso at the age of 11. She attended Austin High School and retired as a CNA for Advantage Home Health Care. She was a long-time member of Bethel Family Ministries Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Adcock and Jo Bell Freeman, brothers, Joe Howard Adcock, Lionel C. Adcock, Howard Freeman, and her son Edwin Pufal III. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters, Dolores and husband Olav Ormstad, Linda Sandy, and Beverly Jo and husband David Duran. She also left behind four grandchildren, Svein B. Ormstad, John E. Ormstad, Dawnya J. Goodridge and Frank Andrews Jr., along with nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Homes–Northeast. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 16, 2009 at Bethel Family Ministries, located at 6301 Alabama. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
