Betty Hernandez

Hernandez, Betty, 68, of EI Paso, Texas, passed away March 2, 2017. Born September 17, 1948 to Jose and Maria Hernandez. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jesus Hernandez and sister, Emma Hernandez and pet Nacho. Survived by children, Chris Mancillas and Gabriel Mancillas. She is also survived by her daughter-in-Iaw's Linda Mancillas and Claudia Mancillas, 5 grandchildren and brothers, Ernest Hernandez and Armando Hernandez. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet Chloe. Betty retired after 31 years of Government Service at Fort Bliss, Texas and White Sands Missile Range. Betty was an active member of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church. We remember our beautiful mother with caring and loving ways for her family and friends. She had a heart made of gold. She will be missed dearly by many today and always. We love you mom. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home (750 N. Carolina), Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil-Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
