Beth Ann Franklin, age 66, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was a dedicated and loving mother, daughter, and sister and will be greatly missed. Beth is preceded in death by her parents; Anthony Krahmer and Neva Chapin. She is survived by her son; Ivan Franklin as well as her brother; Tony Krahmer, and sister; Rebecca Guillen. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
Beth’s passions included reading, learning, gardening, crocheting, and astronomy. Her collection of books literally filled six full-size bookshelves, and she would read her favorite ones 2 or 3 times. Her house had a beautiful courtyard and terraced garden in the backyard that she loved to tend. She loved learning about space and would watch science videos on the Sun’s activity almost every day.
Those passions though, paled in comparison to her desire to help others. She became a nurse as a way to fulfill that desire and did so until her retirement for health reasons.
Beth was a dedicated and lifelong caregiver. First as a mother to her son and then to “her” patients and mother when she became bedridden.
The love for others, her caring heart, and her expressive eyes are what others will remember the most from Beth.
