Bertha Alicia Nanos

Bertha Alicia Nanos, 70, A loving and definitely feisty mother, sister and grandmother passed March 12, 2025. A lifelong native of El Paso, Texas, she was born on August 28 1954 to Jose and Leonor Contreras. She attended Parkland High School in 1972. "BERT" was a proud mother and grandmother who loved 50s and 60s oldies as well as 70s classic rock music and going to the movies, lunch and vacations with her family. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons Ronnie Jr. and Christopher , her grandson Christopher II and three brothers ( Jose, Robert, and Charlie) and her four sisters ( Blanca, Lilia, Ana and Tricia) all of whom meant the world to her. Visitation will be will be held at 4:00 til 8:00 pm, Friday March 28, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at a later date. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered at her service and visitation with all her favorite music playing throughout the service.
