Bertha Martinez, 83, passed away January 3, 2017. She is survived by her son; Fernando Javier Martinez, daughter; Diane M. Astorga, 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, brother; Tirso Carrillo, sisters; Lilia Piñon and Mague Valenzuela. A Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. with Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
