Bertha Lisa, 81, passed away January 3, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. She was born February 25, 1925 to Panfilo Acosta and Modesta Betancourt in Chandler, Arizona. She is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Mona and David Sepulveda; grandchildren: Bernadette, David Jr., and Noah Dominick; brothers, Enrique Acosta and Hector Mendoza; sisters, Rosa Briseno and Elena Acosta; nephew Anthony Verdon, niece Toni Briseno cousin Josie Soto. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a vigil to begin at 7 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
