Bertha Figueroa

Bertha Figueroa a life long resident of Canutillo passed away on June 4, 2009. Bertha was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, caring for her pets, and taking care of loved ones. Our mother loved unconditionally and always saw the good in others. Words can not express how greatly she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bertha is preceded in death by her parents; Guadalupe and Maclovia Gonzalez, sister; Velia Gonzalez and brother; Efren Gonzalez. She is survived by her spouse: Ruben Tena, son; Martin C. Nevarez and his wife Lilian, son; Ricardo Nevarez, daughter; Elisa F. Pavia and her husband James, daughter; Daniella Figueroa, grandchildren; Amanda Venegas, Anthony Arechiga, and Brandon Nevarez, great grandchild: Allexus Bencomo, sisters; Maria Flores, Alicia Rivera and Lino Swanick, brothers; Pedro Gonzalez and Enrique Gonzalez. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes-West on Thursday, June 11, 2009 with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Canutillo at 9:00 a.m. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
