Bertha Alicia Duran Cepeda

Bertha Alicia Duran Cepeda, 76, beautiful and doting wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and resident of El Paso for 20 years, marched into God's Glory on April 11, 2007. She was born on April 29, 1930 in El Por Venir Satevo, Chihuahua to Gregorio Duran and Maria Castaneda. She met her husband, Saul, a US Army veteran, in Cd. Juarez in 1950. After falling madly in love, they were married, August 21, 1951, where they remained faithful and true till death did they part. She is survived by her husband, Saul Q. Cepeda; sons: Art, Armando, Saul Jr., Raymond, Ruben, Mario, David, and Richard; daughters: Theresa and Martha; brothers: Abel and Guadalupe; sister, Maria Aguayo; 25 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6 pm, Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am, Monday, April 16, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
