Bernice Theresa Haskins

Bernice Arnold Haskins, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 08, 2009. She was born on May 03, 1930 in El Paso, Texas and was a life long resident. She graduated from El Paso High School and attended the Texas College of Mines (now UTEP) and belonged to Delta, Delta, Delta. She was employed by State National Bank for years. Bernice later started her own Income Tax Business. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Charlie Arnold and by her husband Charles E. Haskins. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Potts (Craig); her son Bill Haskins (Charlotte); her step-son Del Haskins (Karen); her grandchildren Michael and Brandon Haskins; her step-grandchildren Matthew and Stephanie Haskins; and a great-grandson Julian. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Margaret Devlin and Charlotte Sitton; her sister-in-law Dorothy Tremblay; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 13, 2009 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina, with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday September 14, 2009 at St. Raphael Parish. Interment will follow at Ft, Bliss National Cemetery.
