Bernardo (Bernie) Morales 56, Joined the Lord’s Kingdom on June 15, 2012. Born October 6, 1955, in Fabens, and raised in El Paso Texas, Member of the Catholic Church. Preceded in death by, his parents, Reymundo, and Enriqueta Morales. Survived, by his Son Manny Morales and Granddaughter Sarahi Morales, Sisters; Edna, Lourdes, Priscilla, Ruby, Rita, Hortensia, and Guadalupe Morales, brothers: Ramon (Elena), Carlos (Norma), Reymundo J., and Geronimo Morales. He also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Attended Grad School at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and Graduated from Ysleta High School “Class of 1975”. A Track District CHAMP where he received his name (EL VENADO). In 1982 he served the US NAVY aboard the USS Forrestal, stationed in Jacksonville, FL. and Guam. Bernie was a loving caring individual who was always willing to help his family and friends, “HE WILL FOREVER BE MISSED.” Pallbearers; Ramon, Carlos, Reymundo J., Geronimo, Louie, Cier Morales , Julian Vasquez, and Danny Ontiveros. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. With a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas 9521 North Loop Dr. Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. Monday June 25, 2012 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church 8600 Winchester. Interment will follow at Fabens Cemetery, Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
