Bernardo is preceded in death by his beloved parents; brothers, Henry Macias, Ramon Macias Jr. and Miguel Macias. Bernardo is survived by his loving children Bernie Macias and Lisa Irizarry; long time girlfriend, Dora C. Lopez; brothers, Ricardo Macias and Arturo Macias; sisters, Bertha Garza, Carmen Cedillo, Cristina Macias and Irene Sobey. Also leaving behind 1 grandchild that will honor and cherish his memory forever.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 06, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas, 9521 North Loop Drive, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, March 07, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Graveside will follow at 10:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
