Bernardo Silva Hernandez

Bernardo S. Hernandez, our Dad died on November 24, 2007 at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his loving parents: Alfonso & Altagracia Silva Hernandez & sister Berta Hernandez. He is survived by his brother: Profirio Hernandez (Dorothea); sisters: Isabel Chavarria (Joaquin), Francisca Lopez & Antonia Hernandez. He is also survived by the mother of his children: Leonor Garnica Hernandez; daughters: Maria H. Vitela (Antonio), Berta Gutierrez, Magdalena Juarez (Robert), Socorro Alvarado, Teresa Hernandez, Rosie Ontiveros (Joe), Beatriz Hernandez, Angelica Ontiveros (Miguel); son: Jaime Hernandez (Rosemary) and countless grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends & neighbors. Our Dad was a rebel & a loner (ha ha), he wanted to ride into the sunset alone (ha ha). At the end of the day his legacy in spite of himself was that he left a void in our lifes & hearts. He did not have much, but was wealthier than he imagined. He was deeply loved by his family. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm Thursday, November 29, 2007 with a prayer service at 6 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Graveside Service will be at 10:30 am Friday, November 30, 2007 at Ft.
