Benjamin Jesse Hegeman

BENJAMIN JESSE BENAVIDEZ HEGEMAN passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 39. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle and will be greatly missed. Jesse was preceded in death by his sister Ana Isabel Barrera; he is survived by his parents, Bill and Carmen Hegeman and his siblings: Kimberly Lara Rodriguez, Andrea Vazquez, Samantha Villenave, Chris Hegeman and Ana Lorene Hegeman. Jesse also left cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family also wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of D&S Community Services in San Antonio for their care, support, and friendship for our son, especially Daiquria whose love and understanding were of great comfort to Jesse. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, with Vigil Service and Holy Rosary at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa Street. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
