BEATRICE “BETTY” MARTINEZ-BIGLER, of Framingham, died on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at her home at the age of 47. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Rosario and her father Fidencio, both of whom she adored. She is survived by her husband of 16 years Bob, her daughters Ashley and Shania and son-in-law Ryan Hamel. Additional survivors include her brothers David and Luis Martinez, mother-in-law Eugenia Bigler, sisters-in-law Martha Martinez, Janice Bigler and Christine Sanchez, and brothers-in-law Jeff Bigler and Hector Sanchez. She is also survived by family friend Armando Aguilar and life-long friend Blanca DeSantos Hernandez. Betty is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She is loved and held dear by all.
Betty loved children, no matter the age, and her memories of each of you are rich. Betty loved to garden, spending much of her time planning and nurturing her flowers and vegetables. Her love of growing things was a special bond she shared with her family. We spent many a summer day enjoying her many gardens and our time with her.
Betty lived to love and support her family, especially her two girls Ashley and Shania. A mother’s love is timeless, eternal and perfect. It is unconditional and absolute.
May we each carry a kind and loving thought of Betty in our heart, for Betty always had nothing but loving thoughts of us in her heart.
God bless Betty and all those whose lives she touched.
