Barry Wiggins passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 63. Barry was born in Red Bank , NJ and raised in Matawan, NJ. Barry graduated from Matawan Regional High School. He worked as a member of the Printers Union. Barry spent a good portion of his adult life moving from Matawan to Honolulu, HI and currently El Paso, TX. He liked to travel around the country and sometimes it was a surprise to find out where he was calling home from.
Barry was predeceased by his parents Gerald Wiggins, Anna Wiggins Ryder and William Ryder.
Barry is survived by sisters Ann Scheller (Bob), Maureen McGuire (John), Janie Ryder (Billy), Lisa Ryder and brother Bill Ryder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Barry leaves behind many special friends including Tom Chang of Matawan who was like a brother, Jana Luhan of El Paso and Honolulu, and Kathy MacCutcheon of Matawan.
There are too many Barry Wiggins stories to mention. He was a Mets fan and a Giants fan and always talked about his first Mets game when he caught a foul ball. Barry never had a bad word to say about anyone and was kind to everyone he met. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to a friend. Fun and laughter followed him wherever he went. He will be missed by many.
