Barbara Anne McKinney

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.“ Psalm 46:1 Barbara Anne McKinney was born September 20, 1948 to the proud parents of James and Mary Foster of El Paso, Texas. In this union she was the second of four children. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior on December 17, 1961. Barbara had over 41 years of experience doing clerical work in the medical field and 31 years with surgery scheduling. She graduated from Bel Air High School. Also she continued her education with Texas Tech in Unit Clerk Course and was a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course. She was a member of the El Paso Mountain Lions Club and received several awards for her dedicated service. She is preceded in death by her parents: James E. Foster and Mary E Foster, and her sister; Shirley Hopson. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her wonderful fulfilled life, her long term friend Mr. Nathaniel A LaCour for 191/2 years, a loving daughter, Ms. Tanya McKinney, son; Lucian McKinney, sisters; Dolores Tucker Gloria Foster, nephews; Cesar Tucker, Anthony Tucker, Wayne Foster, Damian Foster, Adrian Hopson, and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11 am at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
