BAILEY ERVIN, 87, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away April 2, 2013 in El Paso, Texas. Bailey was born October 27, 1925 in Marble Falls, Arkansas. He was raised alongside seven siblings by his parents Johnnie & Vickie Ervin (deceased). As a young man, Bailey served in the US Naval Service. He later met and married Marietta Cowell on April 8, 1949. Bailey moved his family to El Paso in 1960 where he worked for 30 years, and retired from, El Paso Natural Gas Company. He and his wife were Charter Members of Western Hills Methodist Church. Bailey was an avid fisherman (mainly Bass), and spent the past 30-plus years of his retirement engaging in his favorite outdoor activity with friends and family. Raised during the Depression, Bailey was a frugal man, and because of that, provided well for his family and proudly funded university educations for all 3 of his children. Bailey is survived by Marietta, his loving wife of 64 years, his son-and fishing buddy- Roger (Mary Katherine), 2 daughters Deborah and Marsha (Tom), 6 grandchildren (John, Travis, Michael, Bonnie, Raymond and Lindse) as well as one great-grandson (Isaiah) who loved playing soccer with Papa. He is also survived by 4 of his remaining siblings. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft.
