Aurora S. Rosales

Aurora S. Rosales, age 102, was called home to join our almighty father, Saturday, August 18, 2018. Aurora was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a resident of Smelter Town, Texas. She will be remembered as a person who made her family a priority and as a woman of faith. She is survived by her sons Ramon Rosales, Roberto Rosales and daughters Velia Poblano, Alicia Contreras and Yolanda Rosales; her 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Benito D. Rosales, son; Benito (Benny) Rosales Jr., and daughter; Maria Olga Blanco. “Little Grandma” will be deeply missed! Visitation will be from 5PM to 9PM with Vigil/Rosary at 7PM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. A Mass in celebration of her life will be held at 1PM, Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
