Aurora Mancera

May 28, 1925 — November 8, 2011

On November 8th our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, called Aurora Mancera, 86, to be in His glorious presence. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but we joyfully celebrate her new life. She was born in Cd. Juarez and lived in El Paso after becoming a U.S. naturalized citizen. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel A. Mancera, her sister Maria Elena Quinones and her brothers Rafael and David Canales. She is survived by her sisters Olivia Caro and Julieta Bustamante; daughters Aurora Salas, Alicia Olvera, Argelia Manzanarez, Guadalupe M. Pacheco, and her sons Manuel, Alberto and Ray Mancera, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Elaine Barron and the staff of Providence Hospital for their professional and loving care. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 pm and recitation of the rosary at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 480 N Resler on Friday, November 11th. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West. Please visit our online register book at sunsetfuneralhome.net.
