AURORA LOPEZ

Aurora Reyes Lopez passed away on February 11, 2011. She was born on April 16, 1920 in Villa Matamoros, Chihuahua to Adolfo and Caritina Reyes. She is survived by her daughters Mary Lou Schwind (Jonathan), Rosalie Burris, Rachel Torres (Michael), 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Aurora was a loyal employee of the Popular Department Store and gave her time to the Foster Grand Parent Program at Roberts Elementary School. The family extends their heart-filled gratitude to Dr. Muneer Assi and the loving caregivers at Monte Vista at Coronado. The family will truly miss her love, strength and courage but are comforted in knowing she is in God’s embrace. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Homes-West with a service at 7:00 P.M. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
