Aurelia I. Ortega

Aurelia I. Ortega, our beloved sister and aunt passed on peacefully at her home on January 6, 2009. She was born in Fredonia, Kansas. Awaiting her arrival in heaven are her parents, Francisco and Francisca Ortega, brothers, Rafael, Domingo, and Elias Ortega & sister, Esperanza Saldivar. She leaves behind sisters, Josefina Rodriguez, Felipa Rios, Carmen Lozano, and Olivia Velasco, brother; Juan Manuel Ortega and numerous nieces and nephews. We will cherish the many years and special moments that we shared with her. The world is truly a better place because she lived. Visitation will be held from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 7 pm on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be held, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 9 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Francisco Lozano, Juan Manuel Ortega, Frank Ortega, Gilbert Sandoval, Ruben Velasco Jr., and Arturo Bejar Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be; Franky Sandoval, Michael Ortega, Frank Velasco and Ruben L. Velasco. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
