Arturo "Bobby" R. Corona

September 30, 1920 — November 24, 2011

Arturo “Bobby” Corona, 91, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a long time resident of El Paso, attended Bowie High School, and had been employed for many years at the Yandell Lumber Company and The Lumber Bin of El Paso. He is survived by his wife, Elisa, and their three children, Katherine McDonaugh of San Antonio, Vivian Molina of El Paso, and Stephen Corona of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also survived by four children from a previous marriage, Robert, Richard, Estella, and Cecilia. “Bobby” had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2011 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10 am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Interment will be private. Pallbearers will be; Alfred Corona, Stephen Corona, Dennis McDonaugh, Ernest Molina, Jonathan Molina, and David Terrazas. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer Association-West Texas, 4687 North Mesa Street, Suite 200 El Paso, Texas 79912 Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
