Arturo Garcia came into this world on April 23, 1960 and was called back to the Lord on August 2, 2021. He was a 1978 graduate from Jefferson High School and afterwards he enlisted into U.S. Army where he was stationed in Fort Bragg. He was a Green Beret in the 5th Special Forces and served as a medic. Through his time, he loved to talk to everyone, and no one was ever a stranger to him. He loved his music, he loved his breakfast, and he loved to travel and through it all he gave to memories to all. He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Garcia, his mother, Maria de Jesus Garcia, his brothers, Ruben Garcia, Joe Garcia, and his sister Josefina Galvez, and his nephew Michael Bustillos. He is survived by his wife, Natividad Garcia, his sons, Arturo Garcia Jr., Benjamin Garcia, and Christopher Garcia, along with his grandsons, Aydan Garcia and Shane Garcia, his sisters, Teresa Gallardo, Cruz Gandarilla, Rosa Herrera, and brother, Ramon Garcia, including all his nieces and nephews. Services for Arturo Garcia entrusted by Sunset Funeral Homes. Visitation: 4:00pm – 8:00pm and the Vigil/Rosary at 6:00pm on Monday, August 9, 2021, Sunset Funeral Home – Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. The Funeral Mass will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Santo Nino De Atocha Church, 210 S. Clark. The Committal Service will be at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
