Arturo Bejar, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso Texas, attended Jefferson High School, served in the US Air Force and retired after a successful career at White Sands Missile Range. He lived a life rich in love and passion.

Arturo was truly a renaissance man, embracing each moment with enthusiasm and grace. His love for tennis was matched only by his devotion to his family. He was a pillar of strength and kindness, always ready with a supportive word or a warm embrace.

He leaves behind a cherished legacy through his family, who will remember him for his boundless love and his ability to find joy in both the grand and simple moments of life. His spirit and memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Irma Bejar, daughters Laura Bejar Lara (Donald Lara), Leticia Bejar Greene and son Arturo Bejar Jr. (Bernadette Ontiveros Bejar). Grandchildren, Arielle Bejar Lara, Donald Ray Lara Jr., Russell Adam Lara, Shelby Lynne Greene, Megan Renee Greene, Matteo A. Bejar, and Arianne Ontiveros. Great-grandchildren, Reagan James Lara, Lilly Ray Lara and Raelynn Marie Lara. Sister Ana Maria Bejar and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Juan & Anita Bejar, brothers Juan F. Bejar & Sergio Bejar.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso Texas, 4:00 to 8:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011Williamette Dr. El Paso Texas, beginning at 11:30 am.

Interment will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson, El Paso Texas, beginning at 1:00 pm.
