Arthur C. Stafford

Arthur C. Stafford (M/Sgt. Ret.) 88, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Feb. 7, 2009. He is survived by his spouse, Denyse, children - Bernard Stafford, Elizabeth Smith, Patrick Stafford, Anne Axmann, Bernadette Hudson, Christine Wathen, and Phillip Stafford, thirteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was a WWII and Vietnam veteran. To his family, he was not only a hero, but a “gentle soul” who laughed often and was loved by all who knew him. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Martin Foster Care Home and Envision Hospice Care. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Friday, February 13, 2009 at St. Michael’s Chapel #2. Committal Service at 11:30 am, Friday, February 13, 2009 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
