Armando Sanchez

Armando (Guero) Sanchez Sr. was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. He was born on October 13, 1932. After he graduated from Jefferson High School in 1952 he joined the United States Air Force and served for 8 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and received the UN Svc. Medal, Korean Svc. Medal with G/Leaf. He was also a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and Pompas Dukes. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his wife: Bertha Sanchez and is survived by his daughter; Corine S. Aragon, son; Armando Sanchez Jr., sister; Rosa Gonzalez and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends and aquaintences from 4-9 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Graveside service will be on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:00 am. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
